Whitehead said that upon Liam's return to the serial he introduces a new girlfriend Nina Bailey to Bianca. Liam "puts on a tough-guy act and pretends everything is cool" while pretending to have moved on. Whitehead opined that Liam is not being truthful with himself and the fact they are both moving on could "spell the end" for their future together. Style is an important to Bianca, but she does not care for vanity because she "values intelligence over everything". Upon their return, Bianca and Liam move into an outdoor home. They have sex every day, until Liam becomes worn out and decides to concentrate on his music. Bianca thinks he has lost interest in her, but he soon convinces her otherwise. Bianca starts to tire of not having a proper home to live in and when she electrocutes herself, she moves back in with Irene. Liam starts taking drugs again and Bianca tries to help him.

Bianca asks for a transfer to a different school after Heath asks for a divorce. However, after they reconcile she attempts to revoke the request, but learns it has already been approved. Heath confronts her about it after he accidentally finds the transfer request.

Homicide detective sergeant Amy Peters questions Heath, and he reveals Gunno took Bianca to get revenge for Heath trying to kill him. Heath calls Irene to let her know that Bianca is missing, and Ash and Nate Cooper travel out to help. Peters brings Heath to the station, where she questions him about the incident with Gunno. Meanwhile, Bianca wakes up in an old hotel tied to a piano. Gunno explains that he has spent 12 months healing from his injuries and forming his revenge plan – framing Heath for Bianca's murder.
Bianca has sex with Adam, moves into his place and begins partying. April manages to make Bianca realise what she is doing and Bianca stops. Heath proposes and Bianca initially refuses, but changes her mind and proposes to him.

Ewing reprised the role for one episode on 3 February 2021. When Bianca goes to wake Rocco up for a feed, she finds he has died from cot death. Both Heath and Bianca struggle to come to terms with Rocco's death. She begins taking drugs, which are supplied by Adam Sharpe .
Bianca realises that she still loves Liam and ends her relationship with Heath. Bianca gets angry at Heath and warns him to stay away from April. Heath cheats on April with Henrietta Brown and she breaks up with him. Ewing's return was later confirmed as he was pictured filming scenes alongside Browne, Kipa-Williams and Patrick O'Connor in Riverstone while dressed in Heath's clothing. The show's executive producer Lucy Addario later confirmed that Heath was only back for a cameo appearance.
She concluded that Bianca is still "very much in love with Liam". The episode's director Geoffrey Nottage won the Australian Directors' Guild Award for "Best Direction in a Television Serial". The search to find the identity of Bianca's attacker was nominated for "Best Mystery" at the 2012 All About Soap Bubble Awards. At the 2012 Inside Soap Awards, Gormley was nominated for "Best Daytime Star". Gormley opined that Gypsy is "hot stuff" and Liam is single, so Bianca has "suspicions" about Gypsy stealing Liam.
He told Daniel Kilkelly of Digital Spy that Heath was originally planned to be a part of the series for six months, but revealed that he had since joined the regular cast. In late 2010, Network Seven began running teaser trailers for a new trio of characters known as "The River Boys". Said to be a "bad-boy surf gang with dodgy reputations", The River Boys consist of three brothers – Heath, Darryl Braxton and Casey . Koby Abberton's Bra Boys were the inspiration for The River Boys. Despite her initial concerns, Heath manages to convince Bianca to merge Summer Bay High and Mangrove River High when Mangrove River is burnt down in a mysterious accident. Montgomery also has a vendetta against Heath, one of her old students, and believes Bianca will not be able to control the Mangrove River students.
They eventually get back together, but Bianca soon learns that her transfer request to the city has been accepted. Darcy's grandmother, Connie , initially refuses to let Darcy live with Heath and Bianca in the city, but later relents. After one final surf with his brothers, Heath says goodbye to his family.

Bree Hoskin of Gaydar Radio said that Heath is the "volatile middle Braxton boy". A writer of The Sun-Herald observed the beginning of Bianca and Liam's relationship as being "blissfully removed" from the serial's usual drama. He said it was "weird behaviour" to rather drink camomile tea than succumb to a woman like Bianca's advances. There's currently no word on whether either of the specials will air in the UK, but Channel 5 did previously screen the last spinoff episode, An Eye For An Eye.
Bianca was angry at Heath for not telling her and Darcy tells her and Heath to stop fighting as it hurts her and Harley. Bianca tells Heath that she wants a divorce and Heath gets into a car accident, but recovers. When Rocco is allowed home, Bianca and Heath decide to move into Irene's together, which makes Heath's daughter,Darcy Callahan, feel left out. The family move into the Braxton house and Bianca clashes with Heath's mother,Cheryl Braxton. Heath becomes frustrated with the police and attempts to run away. He is taken back to the station, where he meets his lawyer Grant Purcell.
After Gina asks them to leave they move in withIrene Roberts. Bianca Scott is the former school principal of Summer Bay and the older daughter of Joanna Scott. She's the older half-sister of April Scott and Charlie Buckton's former best friend. Upcoming scenes will see the pair finally give into their feelings for each other as they get passionate in a lift, after months of trying to avoid the obvious spark between them.
Bianca punches Heath and declares their relationship is over. However, realising the part she played in Heath's betrayal, Bianca stops him from leaving town and they get back together. As they are returning home, Brax and Charlie crash into Liam, who comes off his motorbike. Bianca stays by Liam's side while he recovers in the hospital.

Ewing and Gormley shot some of the footage themselves using mobile phones and GoPro cameras. For Heath's interrogation scenes, Ewing used method acting. He deliberately got as little sleep as possible the night before and drank double espressos to help him portray Heath's anger. Producers offered actress Lisa Flanagan the role of Sergeant Amy Peters without an audition.
